Vice President Of Global Facilities Security And Chief Security Officer

We are seeking a Vice President of Global Facilities Security and Chief Security Officer. This role will lead all aspects of security while delivering comprehensive expertise to support company strategies and business objectives. This position requires a dynamic individual with extensive knowledge in all facets of securityincluding physical security, technical operations, personnel security, and protective services.

Additionally, this role will serve as the subject matter expert on U.S. government policies and regulationsincluding Intelligence Community Directives, industry guidance, and DoD policy. In this capacity, the VP of Global Facilities Security and CSO will foster robust relationships with key agencies and ensure compliance with all federal oversight requirements to support our security needs and drive business growth.

This role is critical to integrating AV's largest recent acquisition and uniting a diverse team into one cohesive organization. Required Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Government Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (with CI or Full Scope Polygraph preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in industrial security, SAP / SCI programs, and management of classified security programs.
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of NISPOM, ICD 705, DoDM 5205.07, and other relevant security regulatory frameworks.
  • Proven experience leading DCSA security reviews, customer inspections, and government audits.
  • Proven ability to cultivate a high-performing security culture that balances mission execution with robust team engagement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills, coupled with exceptional leadership capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with the demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A high degree of professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CISSP, ISP, or SPeD are preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple security disciplinesincluding personnel, physical, cybersecurity, operations security (OPSEC), and information security (INFOSEC)in a complex environment.
  • Prior experience collaborating with defense primes, intelligence agencies, or DoD contractors in a senior security capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, build scalable security programs, and elevate organizational compliance

This role may be located in the DC Metro, LA, Albuquerque, Colorado, or Huntsville areas
