The Project Policy Analyst is the central point of contact for the development, planning, and implementation of the Health Education & Advocacy Leadership (HEAL Academy), including the inaugural cohort of HEAL Academy participants. Under supervision, with support, training, and guidance of departmental staff and HEAL Academy leadership, they will learn concepts and practices necessary for the primary administrative person of the HEAL Academy and support and liase with HEAL and FCM leadership, volunteers, and external community and education partners. The incumbent supports special projects of the HEAL Academy, including operational, experiential, and teaching activities as assigned and overseen by departmental staff and HEAL Academy leadership.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $52,800 - $64,500 (Annual Rate).

The mission of the Department of Family & Community Medicine (DFCM) is to improve health through excellence and innovation in patient care, education, research, advocacy, and community empowerment. The DFCM has a large teaching, research, and clinical set of programs and activities based at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital where this position is based and represents more than half of all the activities for DFCM as a whole.
