Legal Administrative Assistant

$70,000 to $80,000

Responsibilities for Legal Administrative Assistant :
Familiar with immigration forms
Analyze case issues
Prepare & File Applications
USCIS, EOIR, and NVC Applications
Drafting affidavits, declarations, etc.
Family-based immigration forms & petitions
Assignments include: G28, FOIA Request, I-130, NVC, 212 Waiver, 601 Waiver, I-90, N-400, Sentri Appeal, U-Visa, VAWA, Derivative Citizenship, Work Permit, Asylum, Prosecutorial Discretion, Administrative Closure, Removal
Calendaring, filing applications, and knowledge of EOIR court system.
Obtain required documentation
Stay up to date on client case status
Keep clients informed of their case(s)
Communicating with Attorneys
Required Experience for Legal Administrative Assistant: Several years billing experience with a Law Firm or Legal Department in a Legal Administrative Assistant or similar position
