Job Summary Senior-level position for a high-energy person who oversees and manages the overall day-to-day operations of a Merlin Shop. The ideal candidate must be focused on customer satisfaction and shop profitability, be able to execute the Merlin sales process, and enforce other policies and procedures while maintaining a professional image.
Responsibilities - Provides day-to-day leadership and motivation of the shop team with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Enforces and executes Merlins sales process and procedures to maintain a professional image and profitable operation.
- Duties and responsibilities include inventory/cash control, facility image and upkeep, and recruitment and growth of employees through online and offsite training.
- Other duties and responsibilities of this position also include cash management and daily record keeping, managing shop maintenance schedules, and achieving sales and traffic goals .
Education & Certification: - Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications in management, or equivalent, are an advantage.
- Continuing education in leadership, financial management, or automotive-specific courses is beneficial.
Experience: - 5+ years of experience in retail management or similar roles, with a proven track record of driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Extensive experience in team leadership, including recruiting, training, and managing staff across various departments (sales, service, parts, finance).
- Strong background in sales strategy, customer service management, and dealership operations.
Skills & Knowledge:. - Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, financial analysis, and managing profit and loss statements.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees to achieve high performance.
- Customer relationship management expertise, with a focus on enhancing the customer experience and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Additional Qualifications: - Valid drivers license
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, particularly in regions with diverse customer bases.
