Caregiver

Pay Rate : $11.75 per hour

Hours : Part-Time (up to 31hrs per week)

Evenings

1. Mon 3p-8p, Tue 3p-8p, Wed 3p-8p, EOW Sat 10a-7p, Sun 10a-7p = 15 - 33 hrs Part-Time in Kenner
2. Thu 3p-8p, Fri 3p-8p, Sat 2p-10p, Sun 2p-10p = 26 hrs Part-Time in Kenner

Weekends

1. EOW Sat 10a-7p, Sun 10a-7p = 0-18 hrs Part-Time in Kenner

Note : EOW - Every other Weekend

Job Details:

• Work schedules are based on client needs
• We do not offer traditional Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM shifts.

Requirements :

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license held for at least 12 months (permits and intermediates DO NOT QUALIFY).

Training & Orientation:

• All new hires must attend a paid orientation at the Kenner office for the first week on Tue 9a-3p, Wed 9a-3p, Thu 9a-3p.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
• Skills:  Communication, adaptability, multi-tasking, teamwork, time-management
• Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
